Mr. Blais is a registered Professional Engineer with 30+ years experience in the planning, design, construction, test and operation of telecommunications systems. While his predominant experience is in wireless telecom, he has also had experience in cable-based telecom systems. His primary area of operation is as senior technical advisor supporting the planning or deployment of new technologies. His expertise covers the full range of engineering and design activities from coverage and capacity planning through complete site design, including power and grounding. This site provides detailed information on his qualifications and experience. The organization of this site is as follows: The Background section provides an overview of his background, projects and experience. It similar to a resume except that is organized by technology or service. It also includes an overview of his educational and training credentials, licenses and certifications. The Services section describes the technical, management and administrative services he offers. The Projects section describes several of the typical projects he has managed or with which he he was associated. These provide a representative sample of the work he has performed in a variety of technical areas. Resources The Resources section provides access to a small reference library containing information often needed in the field to support engineering activities there.
